How to order in the restaurant? Jak zamówić w restauracji?

If you live in Poland, that lesson might be useful for you.. Everyone eats out from time to time.

How can you order in the restaurant?

1) Proszę kawę. OR Poproszę kawę. 

It means: Coffee, please. There is no diffrence between 'proszę' and 'poproszę' when you order.

Remember to use Accusative after 'proszę'. If you are not familar with Accusative, its better to say: Kawa, proszę.- so then accusative is not required, but first order of words is more common.

2) Chciałabym (femine) / Chciałbym (masculine) kawę. 

It means: I would like a coffee. (again Accusative and here we can't avoid it).

3) Dla mnie kawa.  

It means: For me coffee. Hurray! No Accusative!

4) Czy mogę prosić o kawę?  Can I ask for coffee? Again Accusative.
